Milan needs no introduction, it is the most important city in Italy. It is the economic capital of the peninsula; is the largest industrial city in Italy with activities ranging from textiles to clothing, from chemicals to steel to the production of heavy machinery, in addition to the automotive industry. However, the city is a leader especially in the fashion sector, thanks also to the fashion week which includes Milan among the “fashion capitals”. In the ranking of the most visited cities in the world in 2019 Milan is confirmed at the top, 12th most visited city in the world, 7th in Europe and 2nd in Italy.
