Integration and inclusion for disadvantage students
MOTIVATION
Special educational needs refer to the special attention required by pupils and pupils who for various reasons may present conditions of physical, mental and / or sensorial disability, specific learning disorders, developmental disorders, difficulties or disadvantages related to environmental and cultural conditions, linguistic or socio-economic issues. For each one the school organizes itself so as to offer a plurality of responses attentive to the needs of each one through individualized and / or personalized courses.
We know that for some students facing the learning pathway can be more complex and more difficult than the others. In cases like these, “normal” educational needs (development of skills, social belonging, self-esteem, autonomy) become “special” educational needs, more complex, for which it is important to give an appropriate response to satisfy them. Thanks to the recognition of special educational needs, the right to personalize learning is extended to all students and students in difficulty; assessed through a variety of means.
METHOD
Through the reception and listening of pupils with special educational needs, their growth is fostered in a serene relational climate, capable of enhancing their potential through the knowledge and study of effective pedagogical teaching methods.

OUTCOMES
The ultimate goal is the realization of an inclusive school, a school capable of accommodating the specificities of each one by creating an environment able to harmonize their own intervention, modifying their organization so as to propose educational and didactic methods functional to the different needs, making each student and student is the protagonist of learning whatever their abilities, their potential and their limits.

Day 2
-Inclusion and integration.
-Schools approach in Italy,

-I ACTIVATION: study case, workshop, presentation and discussion about results, critical approach to the case, question time
Day 3
-The difference between integration and inclusion, the benefits of inclusion for students with disabilities;
– The advantages of inclusion;
-Advantages of mainstreaming students;
-Question time.
Day 4
II ACTIVATION: study case, workshop, presentation and discussion about results, critical approach to the case, question time.
-Arrival, integration, inclusion:
-Pedagogical perspective, emotional and relational environments for learning;
-Social skills;
-Question time.
Day 5
-From traditional school to inclusive school;
– Inclusive education;
-Problem solving in inclusive perspective, question time.
Day 6
III ACTIVATION: study case, workshop, presentation and discussion about results, critical approach to the case, question time
